General Operatives

Due to an influx of new orders, we are recruiting for production operatives to join our brilliant and supportive teams at our manufacturing facilities in Highbridge and Weston-Super-Mare.

Health and Safety Manager

As part of our continued expansion, we are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Health and Safety Manager. As the UK’s leading bathroom pod manufacturer, maintaining the highest levels of health and safety on all our manufacturing sites is vitally important.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sharing best practice in safety, health and welfare with all our staff
  • Advising the business on all aspects of health and safety
  • Organising and running health and safety meetings
  • Implementing safety training programmes
  • Ensuring compliance with the latest statutory requirements
  • Implementing effective preventative and remedial processes to promote health and safety and safe working practices in the workplace
  • Managing all risk assessments in line with current legislation for all our sites
  • Conducting internal compliance audits on all our sites
  • Co-ordinate and manage first aid and fire safety on each site

Our requirements include:

  • Previous experience in a similar role for multi-site manufacturing operations
  • Qualification in occupational health and safety, such as a masters, NVQ, BSC or NEBOSH national diploma
  • Comprehensive understanding of the application of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and other relevant legislation
  • Appreciation of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong communications and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach.


Quality Assistant

 

This role is to assist our Team Leaders in inspecting and signing off our bathroom pod projects at various stages of production. We are looking for someone with excellent communications skills and who can prioritise their own workload.

This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Highbridge.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing familiarisation with all types of pods we manufacture and their components
  • Adhering to our stringent quality standards
  • A full understanding of technical drawings to check quality, dimensions, and correct fittings
  • Plumbing witness testing in line with our method statements
  • Documentation management and updating
  • Attending weekly meetings and advising on quality issues.
  • Assisting with weekly audits.

Essential skills:

  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Assertiveness
  • The ability to follow our quality and Health and Safety standards at all times
  • Flexibility to work or assist at our other factories in Highbridge or Weston-super-Mare if required.
