Financial Controller

This position will help us take financial reporting to the next level in our fast-growing, award-winning business. The successful candidate will be commercially minded with excellent analytical, problem solving, and numerical skills. An ambitious team player with outstanding communications skills and a good working knowledge of Sage 200.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Helping to implement and manage processes for manufacturing and project accounting
  • Co-ordinating and directing budget and financial forecasts
  • Overseeing cash flow management and debt collection
  • Provision of timely data to Directors to inform decision making
  • Commercial analysis of project profitability
  • Labour cost analysis
  • Proactively developing new initiatives as part of our continuous improvement
  • Stock analysis and reviews


Quantity Surveyor

We are looking to appoint a qualified and experienced QS to assist with contract management, working with some of the UK's leading developers and main contractors on large-scale offsite construction projects and contracts up to £10m in value. We are a market leader in offsite manufacturing, working across diverse sectors including build-to-rent, student accommodation, apartments, hotels, retirement living, MOD and care homes.

This is a really exciting opportunity to join an expanding business in the fast-paced offsite sector and to work across all aspects of our business, from manufacturing to sales, design and finance.

The successful candidate should have experience within contracting or development with a good understanding of processes and procedures; excellent communications skills combined with energy and enthusiasm for our sector and our business. A strong drive for progression, attention to detail and good analytical competencies are required.

The role is fully flexible - home working/office split, full or part-time (3-5 days a week) or compressed hours.


Plumbers, Tilers, Electricians and General Production Operatives for Bathroom Fitout

Due to an influx of new orders for 2022 and beyond, we are now recruiting for tilers, electricians, plumbers and general production operatives to join our brilliant bathroom pod fitout teams at our production centres in Highbridge and Weston-super-mare. Multiple vacancies available.

The highly competitive salary range is from £10 to £15 per hour according to experience and progression, based on a 40-hour week.

These are really exciting opportunities to join our expanding business in the fast-paced offsite construction sector – we are the UK’s market leader in bathroom pods.

If you have experience of using power and hand tools, enthusiasm, good time management, and a willingness to learn new skills, we really want to hear from you!

For the plumbing roles – a good knowledge of plumbing is required and press fit plumbing would be an advantage.

The roles include:

  • Fitting out bathroom pods to our high quality standards
  • Working towards daily and weekly production targets as part of a team
  • Communicating with and assisting team members
  • Promoting safe working practices at all times.

These are permanent, full-time positions, 0800 to 1630 Monday to Thursday, 0800 to 1500 Friday.


Design Engineer - Bathroom Pods

This vacancy is a great career opportunity for a talented and experienced Design Engineer/ Design Technician to join our design team for our award-winning bathroom pods.

Proven experience in pod or modular building design would be advantageous and ideally a detailed knowledge of MEP. Solidworks experience is preferred but CAD (Autodesk suites) will also be considered.

Responsibilities include all design work from initial enquiry through to project completion, and meeting the precise requirements for each customer, including mechanical, electrical, and architectural detailing and fabrication drawings for offsite manufacturing.

Projects are diverse and range from major, high-end residential schemes for some of the UK’s leading developers, to luxury hotels and student accommodation.

The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with our stringent quality, and health and safety procedures, Building Regulations, statutory requirements and regulations.


Design Engineer - Metal Fabrication

We are looking for a talented Design Engineer who is suitably qualified to specify and certify welding fabrication drawings and ensure our inhouse design and manufacturing requirements are met, from project enquiry through to completion, and in full compliance with our stringent quality and health and safety procedures, and all relevant statutory and regulatory practices.

Solidworks experience is preferred but CAD (Autodesk suites) will also be considered.

Good attention to detail is vital for the checking of drawings and specifications for accuracy prior to issue.

The role involves working closely with our manufacturing teams to ensure optimum design and buildability of our steel-framed products. Additional design work will also be required to support our design team with fabrication drawings for cold formed brackets and supports, wall panels etc.

The successful candidate will have commercial awareness, a good understanding of health and safety and compliance, be a team player and organised in the planning and delivery of design work.
