Planned logistics with minimal disruption
Completed pods are securely prepared for transport and despatched from our Somerset manufacturing site using specialist articulated vehicles. Delivery schedules are agreed in advance to meet your site’s access requirements and installation programme.
Pods can be off-loaded either by forklift or crane. Where crane off-loading is specified, Offsite Solutions provides a certified, custom-built lifting frame for safe and efficient transfer.
Crane and platform positioning
Safe handling, floor-ready placement
Craned pods can be placed onto scaffold landing platforms or cantilevered gantries, aligned with floor structures for seamless movement into final position. Alternatively, hoist platforms can lift pods to higher levels, allowing for flexible vertical access on multi-storey schemes.
Once delivered to the correct level, pods can be taken to their final locations or temporarily stored nearby for later installation.
Quick and simple service hook-up
Efficient connection to site services
Each pod is pre-fitted with clearly routed, factory-tested service connections, positioned on the pod’s external wall. This allows for fast, straightforward hook-up to plumbing and electrical systems, reducing time spent on coordination and commissioning.
