Offsite Solutions has a sound environmental policy, we are members of the Forestry Stewardship Council using wood and timber products from responsible sources and are audited by an independent specialist every year.

In addition we are fully ISO14001 accredited; we place environmental management at the heart of our business to achieve sustainable success. ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard that outlines how to put an effective environmental management system in place.

In order to promote efficient use of water all our bathroom pods can be specified with water saving options such as flow restricted showers, taps and dual flush toilet cisterns. In addition low wattage lighting is fitted to all pod units as standard.

We understand the impact that industry can have on the environment; with this in mind listed below are some of the steps we take to minimise this effect:

We derive a substantial amount of the electricity required from solar. In Q4 2015 solar arrays were installed at two of our factory buildings in Somerset.

We recycle all cardboard, plastic & metal packaging materials.

We recycle all plasterboard & timber offcut, either internally by use within pods, or via a specialist recycling contractor.

We separate out all the various waste streams to ensure the least amount of material goes to landfill.

We prepare cut lists of all sheet materials at the design stage to ensure that the optimum amount of material, cut in the most efficient manner, is used in every bathroom pod.

We run a fleet of modern, efficient site vehicles which are limited to a maximum of 70mph to help limit carbon emissions.

We request information from all key suppliers to assess the environmental performance of products incorporated into our bathroom pods.

In addition we are fully aware of all relevant environmental legislation and ensure that regulatory requirements are met and, where possible, improved upon.
