Bathroom Contract for Urbanest

Student Offsite Solutions completes 5th student bathroom contract for Urbanest

690 Passivhaus-standard steel-framed pods delivered for new Battersea scheme

Final delivery completed at Palmerston Court

Offsite Solutions has completed the delivery of the final bathroom pods for Palmerston Court – a new student housing-led mixed-use development under construction in Battersea, London by Mace.

The £2.8m contract covered 690 steel-framed pods built to Passivhaus standards and marks Offsite Solutions’ fifth project for its longstanding client Urbanest.

Purpose-built accommodation with a sustainability focus

Developed and operated by Urbanest, this ultra-sustainable scheme will provide purpose-built bedrooms for graduates and post-graduates from London’s leading universities and colleges.

Designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and due for completion in 2024, Palmerston Court is the first major Passivhaus student accommodation project in London.

A key development for Battersea

A gateway for Battersea’s new Design and Tech Quarter, the development consists of three buildings ranging from 15 to 19 storeys. In addition to student housing, the scheme will deliver office, enterprise and community space, along with a new replacement pub.

A trusted partnership with Urbanest

Offsite Solutions has previously manufactured bathroom pods for four other student living schemes for Urbanest in London, continuing a long and successful collaboration.

Integrated fitout services

Sister company Deanestor is also contributing to the Palmerston Court development, providing fitted bedroom furniture and kitchens for the studio apartments, along with larger cluster kitchens.
