A more sustainable way to deliver bathrooms

Sustainability built in

Offsite manufacture is a lower-impact method by design

Building bathroom pods in a controlled factory removes much of the waste, transport and rework associated with traditional on-site construction. Materials are ordered and cut to precise specifications, surplus is captured and recycled, and each finished unit arrives ready to install. For projects carrying sustainability targets, that efficiency compounds across the whole programme.

Less material waste from start to finish

Precise, factory-controlled manufacture that keeps surplus out of landfill

Working in a factory allows materials to be measured, cut and used far more accurately than is possible on a live site, which significantly reduces offcuts and surplus. Any waste that does remain is segregated and recycled through managed processes rather than skipped to landfill. Responsible sourcing supports this further, with FSC-certified timber and an ISO 14001 environmental management system underpinning how each pod is produced.

Fewer deliveries and far less site disruption

One finished unit in place of dozens of separate trade and material deliveries

Because each pod arrives complete, a single delivery replaces the many separate material drops and trade visits a traditional bathroom would require. That means fewer vehicle movements to site, lower transport emissions, and less noise, dust and congestion for the surrounding community. Factory accuracy also reduces snagging and the remedial return visits that add further travel once installation is complete.

Recognised standards

A lower-impact approach, backed by credible certification

Our environmental performance is supported by recognised, independently audited standards, including ISO 14001 for environmental management and FSC certification for responsibly sourced timber. Manufacturing in Britain keeps supply chains shorter, and a long product lifecycle reduces the need for replacement over a building's life. Pods can also contribute to BREEAM and similar sustainability assessments, helping developers meet project and planning requirements.
