Bathroom Pod Installation for New UCL Campus in London

Work on site is advancing and some of the bathrooms are already in-situ as the structure for a major new student campus for UCL is constructed on the site of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London.

Offsite Solutions is supplying more than 500 floorless GRP bathroom pods for this student housing scheme in a £1.2m contract for main contractor Vinci.

Due to open in 2022, Pool Street West comprises two towers of student accommodation and a three-storey academic podium which will house hi-tech laboratories and research facilities to support the University’s continuing growth.

The architects are Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands.

GRP bathroom pods are specified for projects where robustness, longevity and low maintenance are the primary considerations. These pods are widely used in the student accommodation, affordable housing, military, healthcare and hotel sectors.
