Our Highlights of 2018

This has been an outstanding year for Offsite Solutions and we would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to all our valued clients and our talented teams throughout the business who have worked tirelessly to achieve another record-breaking year.

We continue to break new ground in bathroom pod technology with our latest innovations and the scale and quality of the projects we deliver. Over the last 14 years, the business has grown 12-fold and currently has a record order book of over £40m which is an incredible achievement.

Our highlights in 2018 have included:

• January – We expanded our range of options for GRP composite pods with the development of a hybrid design to offer an enhanced level of finish for apartments, student residences and hotel bathrooms
• March - We launched our new premium steel and concrete pods for high specification wet rooms – a UK industry first
• April - We developed the only RIBA-accredited CPD training programme for bathroom pods
• June – We supplied the final batch of pods for our first timber-framed residential development – one of three schemes for Renaissance Retirement
• July – We were installing high specification bathroom pods for Canary Wharf’s new private rental apartment tower at Wood Wharf – 443 pods for 327 private rental apartments
• August – We announced our £8m contract with Berkeley Homes for 900+ high specification bathrooms for South Quay Plaza in London Docklands. The contract is the UK’s largest bathroom pod contract for a single residential scheme and the highest value project in our history
• October – We reaffirmed our position as the UK’s leading bathroom pod manufacturer, with our second Manufacturer of the Year Award
• November – We shared our views on Brexit and how offsite manufacture can help developers and contractors mitigate some of the economic uncertainty
• December – We launched a new apprenticeship scheme to attract new talent into offsite manufacturing.

We will be celebrating our 15^th anniversary in 2019 and next year will see us manufacture our 100,000^th bathroom pod – two tremendous milestones for the business.
